Week #13

BABY WEISS IS THE SIZE OF A PEACH!

  • How Far Along? 13 weeks.

  • Doctor Appointment(s): None this week. My next appointment is on the 15th!

  • Symptoms: STILL feeling pukey! :( Other symptoms this week include, dizziness, peeing every 5 minutes, headaches & food aversions.

  • Total Weight Gain: 0. I'm 5'9 and 145 lbs. I was expecting to have gained a few lbs by now but I haven't since I have been feeling pretty crummy and have not been able to keep very much food down lately.

  • Sleep: Ok, there were a few nights that I got up to pee and then couldn't fall back asleep after.

  • Food Cravings/Aversions:
  • My cravings & aversions have been a little crazy lately (And often)! One minute a particular food will be disgusting to me and then 10 minutes later that same food will be all that I can think about. I didn't even know it was possible to have so many cravings & aversions in the same day. I have never felt this way in any of my other pregnancies!

  • Maternity Clothes: Yes, I have been wearing the maternity jeans. :)

  • Showing: A little! :)

  • Stretch Marks: No new ones. I am using Bio-Oil twice a day.

  • Belly Button In Or Out: In.

  • Gender: Unknown.

  • Best Moment(s) Of The Week:

  • On Sunday the 7th, I was FINALLY able to hear the baby with the doppler we got! (Sonoline B) I found the heartbeat right away (Right below my belly button, to the right) and even heard the baby moving around! It was so cool!

  • Feeling the baby move! Now I know that it's still super early and a lot of people don't expect to feel any movement till at least 17-18 weeks BUT this is my 4th pregnancy and I absolutely, without a doubt felt the baby move this week! (I confirmed it was baby with the doppler because I could hear AND feel the movements at the same time!) I think the reason why I can feel it so soon is because when you have had a baby before you just know what it feels like and you are able to recognize the movements sooner. I know several other girlfriends of mine who were able to feel their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. babies around 13-15 weeks as well, so I know I'm not crazy! Haha! :)

  • What I Miss: Not having to get up to pee 2-3x every night.

  • What I'm Looking Forward To:

  • Our Ultrasound later this month to check in our little peanut and find out the gender!

  • Our "Gender Reveal" in a few weeks! Since we decided to find out the gender we thought it would be cool to share the news with our close friends and family in a fun way! So we are going to have everyone come over and find out together!
